matchmycolor expands its partner network in Asia Pacific (APAC) region to support the Colibri® Platform

matchmycolor successfully completes another training session in October 2022 for its new Asia Pacific partners. The two-day inhouse sessions  comprise a combination of hands-on training, lectures and theoretical knowledge exchange .

Participants learn how to measure color using different spectrophotometers, formulate and manage colors in the color competence centre. They use the Colibri® software, one of the most complete cloud color software platforms to:

  • Speed up the specification and communication of color data from  design to production of final product
  • Reduce waste by managing and using Ink leftovers
  • Improve productivity, with user specific workflows
  • Create production reports with  technical data, such as average dE and  job scoring,
  • Display “statistical” data - machine downtime, press performance, the number of jobs completed on site within a certain time frame

Participants get the opportunity to discuss with experts the requirement to connect a color software with an ERP system, to be part of the manufacturing and order request process.

Feedback from participants includes the following statements:

Ted Luo (Well known Equipment & Material Corporation, Taiwan)

I am receiving more and more orders for the Colibri software and there is an  increase in requests for the integration of different software systems at different stages of production My customers are not only looking for  a color matching and quality control software, but rather a solution – with one user interface, common database and no input/output files, such as CxF, Mif or QTX.

Yam Kee NG (Voraustechnik SDN. BHD, Malaysia)

The number of print shops using different types of instruments from different manufacturers has significantly increased in my region. It is quite common to see spectrophotometers from the top three suppliers - Konica Minolta, Techkon and X-Rite - on the same production line. At present, only the Colibri platform can aggregate instruments from different manufacturers under one “roof”. This simplifies data exchange between prepress, pressroom and the ink kitchen, as well as making so-called “brand management” extremely easy.

Colibri® a one-software platform is now available in the Cloud for brands and print packaging groups in Asia Pacific Countries.
