Application Recommended Grade Attributes
Thermoplastic Polymers Ti-Pure® R-350 Suggested for use in most thermoplastic polymers, this rutile grade of titanium dioxide, a fine, dry, white powder with a blue undertone, has unmatched high temperature performance and outstanding dispersibility, and can be used to produce highly-loaded polyolefin masterbatches with minimal impact on the resin melt flow rate, superb yellowing resistance,enhanced durability along with excellent throughput rates.
Exterior Plastic Ti-Pure® R-105 Specifically designed for exterior plastic applications where extended service life is required, this rutile grade of titanium dioxide, a dry, fine, white powder with a neutral undertone and excellent weathering resistance, has moderate opacification power for easy color formulation work.
PVC plastisol (chalking) Ti-Pure® R-102 Suggested for use in a broad range of polymers, this rutile grade of titanium dioxide, a fine, dry, white powder with a very blue undertone and a surface treatment to enhance flocculation resistance and pigment flowability, is especially well-suited for applications involving liquid systems, such as plasticols, flexible polyvinyl chloride and liquid color concentrates.
