Color Presenter allows color producers to measure their color standards and apply the colorimetric values of L*a*b* or L*C*h* color to the CAD file of the customer’s product. This eliminates the confusion that many designers and color producers face today of developing a product and color specification … and then finding out at the end of the development process that the color cannot be achieved due to the product’s requirements for other attributes such as light fastness, FDA or other specification details. Not to mention that the CAD design software used to create the CAD file does not take into account the color of the pigments being used by the producer of the final product. In addition the Color Presenter will not only show the color on the customer’s product it will allow the customer to visualize it under the various lighting conditions or environments where the final product will be seen or used.

We have drivers for the most popular spectrophotometers in the world so color producers can use their existing instrumentation for not only their production or formulation process but also for entering the measured values into Color Presenter.

Color producers spend extensive amounts of money and resources in producing the color their customers have specified and Color Presenter will enable them to have an even closer relationship earlier in the design stage of a product. In addition Color Presenter will assist the color producer to meet expectations of how a product will appear prior to a prototype being produced. Since Color Presenter uses data from a measurement instrument to visualize the design, everyone knows up front that the specified color can be produced in production.

Color Presenter is an excellent addition to the designer’s tool-set for CAD creation. A CAD file created in a program such as Solidworks® can easily be imported into Color Presenter. Once it is inside Color Presenter, the designer can use their color supplier’s color palette to determine the appearance of the final product in various lighting conditions or surrounding environments. Designers can even compare two of the same images side by side in determining the correct color scheme. Users can create Flash files that can be supplied to customers, distributors or the sales force for web site creation, PowerPoint presentations, or on displays at conferences or trade shows.
