Ciba® CROMOPHTAL® pigments for plastics are high performance organic pigments for plastics with varying chemistries that are suitable for use with a wide range of polymers and processes. Their excellent all-round properties include exceptional processing behavior with outstanding and consistent dispersibility that broadens the scope for color and applications. These pigments also demonstrate very low pressure rise due to minimal screen pack blockage during extrusion. This enables major productivity gains as a result of shorter machinery downtime, easier formulation control and less waste. These products all meet strict legislation for purity and many are FDA-compliant. |

These dyes are soluble in organic solvents and exhibit good all-round fastness properties. These dyes have particularly good solubility in alcohols, ketones and esters, but in general they are insoluble or only minimally soluble in hydrocarbons. ORASOL dyes have a very wide field of application including flamboyant finishes, wood and general industrial coating. |
| CIBA® IRGASPERSE® W and Ciba® IRGASPERSE® U |
These dyes are selected metal-complex or metal-free dyes which are particularly suitable for wood stains. They are desalinated by a special process and are supplied in a 1-methoxy-2-propanol or 1-ethoxy-2-propanol solution and aqueous solution form respectively. |
